We all have shows that were either cancelled too soon, or the next season won’t come out fast enough. So today, we’re going to do a little fan fiction. Write what happens next! For a show that has another season on the way, write your predictions. For a show that has ended or was cancelled, write what you wish had happened. Or just go nuts, write your flower shop AU, no one’s stopping you!

Writing Tip

I won’t lie, this isn’t exactly my area of expertise. I’ve written one fan fiction in my life and it was about Adventure Time. However, the appeal in fan fiction is that most of the story already exists. You get to imagine your favorite characters in scenarios they would never be in otherwise. Before you start writing, you may want to do a character study. You don’t have to fill out an entire character sheet, but it’s important to note their mannerisms, how they react in certain situations, and the important facts you know about a character before you get started.
