Diary

“your handwriting. the way you walk. which china pattern you choose. it’s all giving you away. everything you do shows your hand. everything is a self portrait. everything is a diary.”

― Chuck Palahniuk, Diary

Today’s writing prompt has two choices:

Choice One:

Write a diary entry for your OC. What is a normal day for them? Write about their experiences and emotional reactions. Take a moment to really get into their head and discover how they think and write. Do they like to have conversations with themselves? Do they struggle to express themselves? Do they usually keep a diary, or is this a new experience for them?

Choice Two:

Go through old magazines and choose images that represent your character. Consider what kind of designs they like, what kind of clothes, and what kind of styles. Make an image board for your character, but as you make it, consider how your character would make it. What kind of future goals do they have? What is their ideal look? What do they like and dislike about themselves? How do they imagine their future?
