“There is something at work in my soul, which I do not understand.”
― Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
When a person dies, their soul leaves their body to mingle with other souls in the universe. When a person is born, a little chunk of the mingled souls is scooped out and placed into the new body. A soul, then, is really a collection of many souls that have clung together. As a person grows up, they often experience deja vu or are naturally good at certain things. Many believe this is because of their past lives, but it’s a bit more complicated than that. Marin, who excels at sports, believes that maybe she was an athlete in another life. When she has a surprise encounter with a ghost, she’ll learn that a part of her spirit was once a great warrior, and that an evil spirit was out for revenge. Marin will have to learn how to get into contact with the pieces of her soul in order to learn what she must to defeat the evil spirit.
