“I feel like a ghost floating in my own body. I feel like a ghost. Hollow spirit, ectoplasm, meat sack with free floating bones. I am behind these eyes but they spin on their own.”
–A poem I wrote when I was dissociating
Your body has powered down and you find out that you are actually a small creature inside the human-robot that you thought was you. Now you must scramble to turn the body back on before someone notices. However, your insides are dark and mushy, and you know nothing about how it works. There is a manual, but it’s damp and the ink is runny, so it’s mostly useless. After punching several nerve endings and kicking some cells around, you hear a voice.
