Accidental Magic

Kat had tried for many years to be good at something. Everyone always told her that she didn’t have to be good in order to enjoy a task, but the only thing that brought her joy was success. Sure she was good at mundane things like school work and chores, but she wanted to be creative, artistic. She wanted to be impressive. After much experimentation, she found that she was good at the one thing no one would believe: magic. Excited that she found something worth doing but frustrated that she couldn’t flaunt it, Kat practiced her magic until she did something even she had never imagined possible….
