Time had never been much of a problem for Alex because he could stop it whenever he wanted. As long as he could remember, he could command time. Slow it down, speed it up, and stop it all together. When he was a kid, it terrified him. Sometimes everyone would just stop, and he would try to wake them up, unaware that it was his doing. His parents were always confused when he suddenly started crying or throwing a tantrum. As he got older, Alex learned to control his skill, and mostly used it to get out of class. Recently, however, his power seems to be taking control of him. One minute he would be bored in class, and the next he was walking home, not remembering when it ended. His biggest fear was he would wake up one day old and senile, having sped time up in his sleep, or maybe, the opposite would happen. He had to figure out what was going on and fast before something went horribly wrong….
