The crows have always talked to her. When she was little, she learned to speak from the crows. Her mom was always surprised at how much she knew. She wanted to tell her it was because of the crows, but they told her not to tell anyone. “What would happen?” she asked, but they would not say. One day she met a boy that said he could speak to foxes, and in her excitement exposed her secret. She rushed to find them and tell them she found someone like her, but when she did, they would no longer speak…
