They had heard that the caves were haunted, but they always believed it was just a legend. When they started their first day of work mining, everything was fine. The noises didn’t start until later, after the first detonation to deepen the tunnel. At first they could explain it away as animals or loose rocks falling from the ceiling, but then the noises started to sound eerily human. Their equipment would be moved over night, some things were broken or wouldn’t start. Then they found the bones and could no longer deny that there was nothing in there with them….
