Wise Man: “If you don’t stand for something. You’ll fall for anything.”

Think of a character you’ve created. What do they believe in? Do they have a religion? A motto? Take a moment to make a list for this character about their system of belief. Include: political stance and ideas for reform, political affiliation, religion (what they were raised on and what they believe in now), how they feel about the current situation they live in (maybe, their physical living situation or their country), their purpose for living, their goals for their life etc. What did you learn about your character?

To further understand your character, put them into an extreme situation where their beliefs are challenged. Maybe, they’ve been framed for a crime, or they must choose between two people to save etc. Will they change their belief? Or will their belief explain their decision?
