Write about necromancy gone wrong. Your characters can be experienced witches and wizards, or some teens in their mom’s basement, unaware that what their doing is utterly too real. Don’t go the obvious route: i.e. the dead person comes back as a zombie or demon. Try to be new, spontaneous, and creative. Do they remember the afterlife? Do they come back as a reincarnation? Do your witches end up having to kill them again? Go nuts!
