Coma Dreams

“It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live.”

–Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

(J.K. Rowling)

For him, dreams are all he knows. He’s been trapped in the dream world for weeks. His family sits by his side at the hospital trying to wait out his coma, unsure of what brought it on and how to bring him back. On the bright side, he’s learned a lot about his neighbors and family as he walks through their dreams, but maybe too much. He can’t pinpoint whose dream it is, but someone is having guilt dreams about a murder. As he gets closer to solving the mystery, he can’t help but feel he’s being watched. The murderer is becoming aware of his presence. How much longer will he have to figure out the murderer’s identity? What will happen if he gets caught? and when will he wake from his coma?
