Write a list of your favorite things. They can be simple, beautiful things like your favorite flower or your favorite sound, or it can be deeper, like your favorite memory or person. Make it weird, let yourself discover your deeper loves. Or just make yourself laugh; one of my favorite things is seeing a semi truck towing another semi. Think of the things that make you smile and write it all down, then fold it up and put it somewhere you can discover it later and read again.
